About the Responsibilities
Based in Markham, Ontario, a Software Integration Engineer is required to join a 7-person software integration team within a complex software development project. The project consists of the development of real time communications applications for the Collaboration market space in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities include the testing of cloud based and premise based software, defining test strategy, writing manual and automated testcases, writing bug reports, validating software fixes, summarizing testing results and reviewing customer documentation. This position will require working closely with software designers, technical writers and technical support engineers, as well as with other members of the software integration team. The work-term is for 16 months.
About the Requirements
Key Skills Required:
- The candidate MUST possess the following skills/experience:
- Minimum 4 months experience providing support or testing in a Windows or Cloud based software environment
- Good written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork
- Resourcefulness & ability to grasp new concepts quickly
The candidate SHOULD possess the following skills/experience:
- Previous experience in a software development company
Education/Experience:
- Completion of 3 years in Engineering or Computer Science degree program
