Based in Markham, Ontario, our goal at Avaya Cloud Canada is to provide the best communication solutions with an awesome user experience, which help people to stay productive and to get work done. About the Responsibilities

  • Based in Markham, Ontario, a Senior Software Engineer is required to join a 4-person development team within a complex software development project. The project consists of the development of new cloud based voice messaging, virtual operator and auto attendant in GCP which will work with various cloud services and Avaya products.


  • Responsibilities include the design, code, test of full stack cloud based software. This position will require working closely with software designers, software testers, technical writer and technical support engineers.

About the Requirements


  • Demonstrable and proven experience full stack development in Google Cloud Platform environments
  • Proven experience with real time applications development in Google Cloud Platform


  • Demonstratable skills in software development for GCP
  • Good written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork
  • Multi-tasking ability 
  • Resourcefulness & ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Experience with SendGrid would be an asset
  • Experience with database development



  • Degree in Engineering (Computer, Software, Electrical) or Computer Science
