About the Opportunity

 

As an Avaya Cloud CAM you’ll blend hunting and farming sales skillsets in equal measure. Working closely with Avaya’s Channel Partner communities (e.g. Master Agents, existing VARs, new agents), you’ll recruit and cultivate Agents and assist customers uncover how Avaya Cloud Office (ACO) meets their organizational goals.

About the Responsibilities

  • Lead a full sales cycle from lead identification to close
  • Design and execute regional partner enablement sessions 
  • Attend and manage regional Avaya / Master Agent co-sponsored events
  • Maintain frequent communication cadences with partners to ensure that Avaya Cloud Office is top-of-mind in the channel community
  • New partner recruitment across Ontario (e.g. SWO, GTA, Toronto, Ottawa, the Kingston Corridor)
  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (SE, Marketing, Customer Success) for pre and post-sale engagements
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear closing strategies sales by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • Time spent working with or at a Value-Added Reseller or interconnect an advantage
  • Experience selling As-a-Service solutions into the Ontario market (Small to large segments)
  • Demonstrated ability to source leads and generate sales opportunities

 Skills and Competencies

  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and produce accurate high-quality work
  • Outstanding teamwork skills are essential. Success will rely heavily on leveraging your colleagues and partnerships

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  • This is a full-time role with up to 25% travel
  • The role is Virtual with occasional requirements to be present at the head office in Markham or one of the downtown locations

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
