We are seeking a software developer to join our Experience Avaya demo team and help shape the Avaya demo experience through web and mobile application development. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and passion for technology to drive the development of a cutting-edge demo applications.


  • Demo Development - Lead the design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art demos that showcases Avaya's communication and collaboration solutions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and oversee the execution of the demo development creating seamless user experiences.
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of the demo platform with Avaya's product development and go-to-market strategies. Align demos with customer needs, sales objectives, and marketing initiatives. Translate Use Cases into actionable demos.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams and partners on effectively utilizing demos and delivering impactful demos. Develop training materials, documentation, and best practices to enable users to leverage the full potential of the demos.
  • Customer Feedback and Insights: Gather customer feedback and insights on the demos. Incorporate customer feedback into demo enhancements.

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in web and application development. Demonstrated experience in web and application and delivering demo experiences.
  • Application Experience: 3+ years of JavaScript, React, API integration and JSON Web Token integrations.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background and understanding of communication and collaboration technologies. Familiarity with Avaya's product portfolio is a plus. Knowledge of software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and APIs is highly desirable.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative demo use cases that highlight the value and capabilities of Avaya's solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and engaging demonstrations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Ability to empathize with customers and create demo experiences that address their needs and pain points.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight timelines. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Web and Application Development or a related field is preferred.


The pay range for this opportunity is from $94,100 to $127,000+ performance-related bonus + benefits

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
