About the Opportunity

The role is the Global Advantage (GA) Subject Matter Expert for Avaya.  The role must build and maintain necessary relationships with stakeholders globally to coordinate global cross functional matrix teams to achieve desired outcomes.  Must work closely with CUSTOMER OPERATIONS (CO) to ensure timely billing and collection.  Works with account teams and finance to address audit requirements.  For master agreements, must – deliver against customer T&C’s that include discounts, termination language, license parking and custom terms. Depending on customer and activity level, must hold regularly scheduled meetings with account teams, some may include the customer

About the Responsibilities

  • On-Going Customer Support
    • GA inbox and eBiller – contract expirations, new invoices, T&M invoices
    • Address all billing inquiries globally
    • Maintenance spend monitoring
    • Mid Cycle additions/terminations
  • GA Customer Management
    • Track & Manage GA customer information, status and opportunities
    • Coordinate monthly meeting with stakeholders
    • Provide GA prospect site list for GSS analysis to estimate resource requirements

About the Requirements

  • Understanding of Avaya’s Global Business Model, service offerings, business operations, policies by theater
  • Good Knowledge Billing, A1S, SAP, SFDC, Material Codes, PO process, BPO, Offer Teams, COE Team, SOWs, T&Cs
  • Soft skills required to be successful in the role and in Avaya, in line with our five key cultural principles of trust, empowerment, teamwork, simplicity and accountability


5 - 8 Years of Experience


Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Master of Business Administration is preferred
