About the Opportunity

This role provides an opportunity to guide and execute channel sales strategy for the Americas. This role will act as the overall point person for channel programs and commercialization for North America, Central America, and Latin America. This involves facilitating channel deals, running QBRs, and special project assignments. Success is measured by level of influence on the channel meeting its overall goals.

About the Responsibilities

  • Oversees the strategy, development, and deployment of incentives and programs for Avaya channel partners.
  • Partners and builds meaningful relationships with key individuals and teams with functional solution leadership teams, product BUs, marketing, and sales leads. Using these relationships to maximize the effectiveness of accomplishing Avaya strategy within the channel.
  • Work may include monitoring business for new needs to be met, business analysis, building proposals, developing collateral, developing, and managing associated processes, and managing against success criteria.
  • Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems.

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE
 

  • Strong experience with Avaya solutions and processes
  • Strong experience with Avaya’s channel
  • Knowledge about migrating from CAPEX to OPEX and on-premises to cloud
     

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
 

  • Excellent skills with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Ability to simply communicate complex concepts
  • Project Management skills to run a multi-functional program without direct management responsibility of resources

  • Remote Office or Avaya Office
  • Little-to-no travel required
     

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
