About The Opportunity

    •7+ years’ experience in software engineering, including experience managing production systems
    •Demonstrated ability in Systems and Design Thinking approaches.
    •Demonstrated success working on software engineering problems that span multiple products
    •Expert ability to deliver through other software engineers
    •Excellent Software Architect / Software Architecture skills. This means you don't just write code, you organize it well, and you know and follow principles and best practices.
    •Strong sense of ownership and product understanding
    •Ability to be rapidly effective with Java, JavaScript (Node.js and React) lead by example with code
    •Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations. Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting        asks
    •Expert level skills in design, architecture and development, with an ability to take a deep dive in the implementation aspects if the situation demands
    •Expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and can implement them using language of choice when necessary
 

About You

 

EXPERIENCE

•    Experience in designing & maintaining microservices on cloud- Azure or GCP or AWS
•    Experience and knowledge of Cloud capabilities that can be leveraged for production grade microservices. 
•    Experience in troubleshooting & debugging issues in production.
•    Experience and knowledge of Redis, Kafka, Datadog
•    Experience with tools like Sonar & Coverity for static analysis
•    Experience and knowledge of UML, Domain driven Design & Reactive Architecture
•    Strong Java backend experience including designing highly fault tolerant and scalable systems. 
•    Strong relational database experience.
•    Hands-on working knowledge of containers, and operationalizing them in the public cloud
•    Experience using cloud-native services and architecting cloud-native applications
•    Analyzes software libraries, frameworks and languages and builds future road  
•    Works with enterprise architecture team and partner organizations to influence enterprise direction and recommend solutions.  Educates team on industry best practices and drives change. 
•    Can solve complex problems with ambiguous or incomplete data in highly distributed systems.  
•    Designs enterprise-level services, systems, and architecture patterns. Builds valuable documentation and communicates effectively.  An advocate and evangelist for availability, scaling, performance, and customer experience. 
•    Leads large projects potentially across multiple teams.  Role model for other teams.  Develops engineering leaders through delegation. 
•    Views challenges as opportunities and energizes self and others. Leads initiatives across organizational domains. Develops new systems or structures to support long-term strategy. Can measure technical risks worth taking to move a product forward. Establishes new stretch goals that accelerate objectives. 
•    Focuses on quality in everything you do. Continue to raise the bar and drive others to deliver high-quality products and services.  Establish criteria for standard excellence with the ability to drive it forward. 
•    Curious about new technologies and processes. You always seek to improve yourself and everyone around you.  Proactively seek and share knowledge with others outside of your organization
 

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Master degree or equivalent experience

Compensation

The pay range for this opportunity is from $96,000 to $130,000 + performance-related bonus + benefits
This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
