ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• Avaya Solutions and Technology business unit is Avaya’s core R&D, design, development, and carrier operations wing. Part of the Cloud Solutions team, in build new automation frameworks, enhancing the existing automation framework suites based on the new features for the Avaya’s real time communication applications/services/solutions deployed in the Cloud Platform.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with Service Providers and end customers for any carrier routing, SIP trunking related issues.
• On-boarding of the new SIP Carriers, On-Boarding of the end customers with BYOC & HYBRID model.
• Complete maintenance (configurations, Upgrade/downgrade, Security management etc.) of the of the Avaya’s Cloud Based Voice Platform
• Contribute to the design, ensuring the stability and availability of the SIP Micro services (Freeswitch, Kamailio, Frafos) running on AWS/Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with Internal & External stakeholders in managing day-to-day customer reported issues.
• Single point of contact for any escalation related to Carrier/Voice integrations.
• Troubleshooting, debugging and technically lead the team not only in the day-to-day activities, but also should be able to mentor them for the learning paths and transformations.
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE:
• Proven Experience in the cloud operations/carrier operations support and maintenance of telecommunications/VoIP services running on any of the public cloud platform (GCP/AWS)
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge in any of the public cloud platform (GCP, AWS), Microservices, Docker Container, Kubernetes, Kafka, Datadog etc.
• Experience managing voice infrastructure on Public Cloud/Private Cloud/On-premises.
• Deep understanding and solid knowledge of VoIP and UC (Unified Communications) related protocols and technologies
• Specialization in Enterprise to Carrier integration efforts
• Hands on experience with SIP trunking / SIP Peering interoperations w/ both customer & carriers
• Expertise with all functionalities of Session Border Controllers (Avaya, Kamailio & Frafos)
• Expertise with Contact Center related applications including ACD, IVR, Outbound Dialer etc.
• Expertise with SIP, UDP, TCP/IP network related technologies including routing/switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT, Firewall/ACL, QoS (Quality of Service) etc.
• Knowledge of using Call Flow Analyzer (Homer, Frafos Monitor, VoIP Mon preferred)
• Expertise with troubleshooting VoIP using Wireshark/TCP dump or collecting/decoding traces/logs/debugs from various network elements and applications.
• Expert customer service experience, driving escalation calls and implementation discussions at a high level.
• Good understanding of Networks / Telecom, Web Systems and Architectures
• Previous experience with Avaya CC/UC solutions (or Cisco CUCM, Unity, IM&P, etc.)
• Experience with any SQL or NoSQL database like Mongo DB, Crunchy DB etc.
• Experience in using Git, Bit bucket, Maven, Nexus repositories
• Ability to prioritize and multitask as needed
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Previous experience in System Management, Administration and Provisioning of Telecommunication based solutions would be required.
• Willing to work flexible hours as needed by the project.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:
• BE/BTECH in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience - Preferably CSE/Telecommunications branch, AWS, AZURE, GCP certifications
