ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

AVAYA is looking for a SAP QTC – Solution Architect to join our Solution Delivery team immediately to help us with Digital Transformation. Work with various business unit to Streamline the process in Sales Operations, Offer managers, Product managers and AVAYA operations and Billing and Lead SAP roadmap and coordinate across multiple functions ( Functional, Testing, PMO, etc.). Below are some of the requirements.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead critical projects from start to finish including requirements gathering, solutioning, deployment, testing, training, change management, documentation, communication, and measuring business value
  • Develop a deep understanding of AVAYA business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners
  • Interface SAP with our external applications (Quoting & Provisioning) to improve systems usability and process efficiency
  • Translate business process requirements to SAP configuration and document solutions
  • Advise on the management of configuration and testing across the SAP environment
  • Support the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities that support organizational strategic vision and priorities
  • Collaborate with other functional architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency
  • Understand non-SAP business systems and their interaction with SAP; assist in the support and management of those systems as part of our overall solutions portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Master Data Management team to provide input on strategy and initiatives to support management reporting requirements

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business related degree or equivalent experience
  • 12-15 years functional SAP experience, including hands on configuration and knowledge of various QTC processes.
  • Experience in architecting solutions with SAP & Non-SAP systems.
  • Expert knowledge of the SAP SD module with 10+ years of experience in QTC processes & configuration.
  • Expertise in Sales and Service Contracts, Billing & Invoicing, Pricing & Rebates
  • Expertise in designing custom solutions for newer Digital offerings in SAP ECC 6.0
  • Knowledge in the integration points between SAP WM, MM, SD and FICO.
  • Full life cycle experience – including conducting blue printing workshops, configuration, and functional specification preparation and guide the technical team.
  • Experience in Test case preparation, Unit testing, UAT support. Experience in 3rd party tools preferred. (HPQC, WorkSoft, etc.)
  • Experience in training material preparation, end user training.
  • ABAP knowledge is a plus
  • Vistex Claims Management knowledge is a plus
  • Strong written and communication skills. Ability to present design proposals, execute training sessions and conduct meetings
  • Feel comfortable with being part of a global organization, assuming the local needs/requirements need to be aligned with the global IT strategy

  • SAP Functional
    • Customer and Supplier Master Data, Material master data, Order to cash, Quote to cash, Revenue allocation and recognition, Purchase to Pay, Plan driven procurement, Procurement for Employee self-service, Consumption Based Planning, Inventory Management, Contract management, Accounts Payable, S/4, SAP ECC, SD-MM integration , SD-FI integration , MM-FI Integration, SD-MM Integration, SRM-MM integration, MDM Catalogs.
    • BRIM – SOM, CC, CI integration with mediation Zone
    • Sales Documents: Expertise in configuring document types, Item categories, Item category groups, schedule lines, Incompletion procedures, item/product proposal, availability checks (ATP), Account assignments, Copy control, Transfer Requirements (TOR), Quote to cash processes.
    • Pricing: Extensive experience with defining Condition Types, Condition Tables, Access Sequences and Pricing Procedures according to Client and Business Requirements, Variant Configuration including variant class, class types, characteristics, Pricing conditions and Bill of Material (BOM).
    • Revenue allocation and Recognition: Working experience of integration of ECC with . SAP RAR.
    • Good understanding of WM, FI and PE modules.
  • SAP Technical knowledge
    • ABAP/4, ABAP Webdynpro, Workflows, IDOC, ALE, Interface design, Reports, Enhancements, BRF Workflows, SAP BPM/BRM, SAP Gateway/Odata, SAP Smartforms, Scripts and Adobe forms, BSP, Debugging, Query, LSMW, BDC, SAP PI, SAP MDM, Data Migration, Netweaver Portal administration, SAP and Portal Security.
    • Knowledge of SAP Fiori Apps, Java , SAP UI5, Odata.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Full time, Business Hours Mostly, Less then 5% travel possible .

 

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree - Computer Sciences – Preferred
