About the Role

We are seeking talented and driven software engineers to join our team. As an integral part of Avaya, you will own the design, delivery and support of features in a highly concurrent, multi-tenant contact center platform that handles real-time omni-channel communications at cloud scale and tackle complex technical challenges for Avaya's communication and collaboration cloud offerings, serving a diverse range of global clients.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance cloud applications, ensuring their reliability and performance.
  • Scale our applications to support millions of users, optimizing for performance and availability.
  • Emphasize test automation and understand the significance of automated tests in delivering robust solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other development teams to achieve seamless integration and deliver outstanding results.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Implement a robust set of microservices and APIs.
  • Deliver top-notch software, following defined processes and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Continuously improve metrics, quality, and processes, promoting a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality software deliverables.



  • Experience with software development in one or more object-oriented programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • Strong background in software design and architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers like Google Cloud and Azure.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills to tackle complex challenges.
  • Experience with API Gateways, API interfacing, and API integration.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A master's degree is a plus.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks

The base salary range for this role is $120,800 - $209,990 + bonus + benefits.
