About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a self-driven, organized and self-motivated manager to join our Avaya Professional Services (CoE) who would be responsible for managing a team of APS consultants delivering implementation service to our global customers in North America and others. Must have knowledge in Avaya UC and CC products delivering solutions for both on-prem and cloud customers. Supervise and mentor the team ensuring quality service delivery meeting the customer’s requirement, expectation and timeline.  

About the Requirements:


•    8+ years of strong Avaya product knowledge in both UC and CC solutions for on-prem and cloud customers 
•    Prior people management experience with at least completion of 2 appraisal cycles.
•    Prior experience of working with global customers in North America and others. 
•    Excellent team player, mentor and coach for your team.
•    Ability to assign tasks, define priorities and ensure the team is accountable for their tasks.
•    Experience in Microsoft excel for creating various metrices to measure team’s occupancy, utilization, foresting etc. 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Agile, ITIL etc. trained/Certified will be preferred.

About the Responsibilities:


•    Managing a team of APS consultants 20 or more delivering implementation service to our global customers in North America and others. 
•    Responsible for hiring talents, developing skills, deploying and retaining highly skilled engineers and consultants.
•    Ensures the team performance is aligned with APS revenue growth and transformation.
•    Oversees planning and implementation of strategic APS initiatives in addition to the guidance and mentoring of team members in the successful support of their responsibilities.
•    Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems.
•    Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
•    Manage your team’s performance by setting up objectives, monitor progress and help your team achieving their objectives. 
•    Manage escalations for all technical & resource assignment by defining business priorities, assigning SME etc to ensure resolution.
•    Cross-functional collaborate to lead and engage right team/individual bringing additional expertise when required. 
•    Develop strong technical ability ensuring minimal skill gap within the team. 
•    Vendor management by working with Business partners and their Engineers for delivering APS scopes for customers.
