About the Opportunity

 

Digital transformation requires streamlined UC & Collaboration (UC/VIDEO convergence has highlighted some challenges for the field in changing the conversation to deliver the right message to market). The specialist will need to being able of driving the conversation of the technological evolution in terms of COLLABORATION WORKSPACE, VENDOR INTEROPERABILITY and MARKET CONVERGENCE

 

The specialist will analyse and deliver the strategic business outcome for the technological solution leveraging on market and competition knowledge, define the added value proposition, long term benefit, ROI etc.. The Specialist has an in depth view of the LOB segment and is capable of articulating all the technical aspects, the key benefit of the solution to be properly positioned at customer’s level.

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive and lead the execution UC&C account plans in Top accounts in the UKI/Germany including running workshops, demonstration & developing solution roadmap for customers
  • Carries Sales Quota for Avaya UC&C Business in UKI and Germany
  • Work in partnership with area sales team to drive UC&C business with dedicated focus on Collaboration
  • Develop the strategy, sales activity plan to achieve the assigned UC&C quota and KPI set by the International UC&C leader and the UKI/Germany MDs.
  • Develop and follow up the execution of demand generation with product marketing team to achieve the desired business objectives, e.g. drive the adoption of new product & solution in specific market segment
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with RSLs in Avaya assigned territories.
  • Strongly interlock with BU to provide feedback for market requirement & drive closure with product managers
  • Work with top UC&C Channel partners in assigned territories and help them plan and execute the UC&C sales plan.
  • Work with the channel team to increase partner coverage in all UC&C market segments (with focus on collaboration) and to drive sales programs with Channels Partners.
  • Launch sales initiatives to increase pipeline
  • Serve as a subject matter expert advising our customers, partners, consultants and internal Avaya sales resources (AM’s, CAM’s, DAM’s) across multiple competences (vertical markets, competition evolution, cloud focus…)
Requirements
  •  
  • Solid experience within UC&C industry.
  • Proven track record in leading and winning major UC&C Sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in launching & executing of Sales Programs with Channel partners.
  • Demonstrate business transformation and solution-selling approach
  • Demonstrate influence over Customer's & Partner’s strategy/behaviour
  • Demonstrate clear awareness of the UC&C market pressures, competition & trends and transitions in UKI/Germany (European vision preferred
  • Understands and can articulate Avaya’s vision, strategy and architectural approach
  • Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencing CxOs, UC&C Managers, Telecom Managers, IT Managers, etc
  • Familiarity with Avaya UC&C solutions will be a bonus.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and lead Sales engagements with Avaya’s UC&C partners.
  • Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills
  • English mother tongue
  • German speaking as other language preferred
  • Strong team player and ability to lead/work in a multi-functional virtual team

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
