About the Opportunity

As an Avaya Integration Solutions Specialist you will identify and position the best business and technology outcome to your customers and partners by providing in-depth business and technology expertise with the ability to completely understand business challenges and IT and communications environments in order to identify potential opportunities and develop a business case to position value added solutions as part of a customer’s broader business and technology strategy to allowing their businesses to flourish.

About the Responsibilities

  • Develops the account and territory-based strategies and plans to present and sell Avaya OneCloud CPaaS and associated SaaS solutions including Alliances Solutions & Services, which deliver business impact and outcome to the customers
  • Fully accountable for specific revenue target and sales growth within the specific area of specialty
  • Proactively identifies and qualifies opportunities to build and manage a pipeline
  • Maintains and penetrates current customer base, along with identifying and converting prospective customers
  • Represents the company to the customer, and the customer to the company, while partnering with peer Account Managers and Business Partners to drive contact center business
  • The Solutions Sales Specialist is both technical and a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable showing an engaging communications experience to a CEO or sketching out an API flow on a whiteboard with customer software engineers
  • Not expected to be writing production code but able to develop proof of concepts and understand questions from a developer or architect audience is a requirement of the role. As such it is important that you have a good understanding of programming principles in order to enjoy and flourish in this role
  • Deliver a strong business acumen in enterprise cloud consumption and associated business drivers
  • Drive the execution of account plans in specific accounts including driving & running workshops, demonstration & developing solution roadmaps for customers (60%)
  • Drive and lead the execution of top customer and channel initiatives to achieve the desired business goal (15%)
  • Support the execution of demand generation with product marketing team to achieve the desired business objectives, e.g. drive the adoption of new solutions and applications in specific market segments (15%)
  • Provide feedback to BU for market requirement & drive closure with product managers (10%)

About the Requirements

  • Requires a well-developed enterprise cloud & solutions selling approach with an established sales record including contact center, customer experience and digital workplace software and services sales experience.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in a specific market segment or vertical a strong plus
  • Experienced in multi-level selling and has the ability to position complex solutions within management levels in a customer organisation
  • Able to build a deep understanding of a customer’s needs and guide them to a technical solution
  • A creative problem solver with know how to get things done and collaborates with others to drive success
  • An engaging communicator and presenter able to gain audience confidence
  • Experience in one of the following areas, multiple areas of experience would be advantageous:
    • Backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP)
    • Web development (e.g. Java Script)
    • Experience building with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture.
  • Demonstrate a consultative and solutions led approach
  • Demonstrate influence over Customer's & Partner’s strategy and behavior
  • Demonstrate clear awareness of Public Cloud market pressures & trends and transitions
  • Understands and can articulate Avaya’s vision, strategy and architectural approach
  • Ability to work unsupervised and lead Sales engagements with customers and partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, able to communicate fluently in both local language and English, as well as good listening and strong presentation skills
  • Strong team player and ability to lead a multi-functional virtual team






Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science
