About the Opportunity

Our EU HR team is currently seeking an experienced HR business partner to support our people managers in France, Belux and across the EU. This role is based in the UK.

 

Focused on driving business success, the HR Business Partner provides HR leadership, strategic and operational, to an assigned geographic client base, to ensure the company achieves its business goals. The HRBP acts as an internal consultant and HR resource for senior leaders, managers and employees and responds proactively to the unique needs of the geography.

 

The HRBP will provide proactive HR consulting services in relation to Talent Management and Total Rewards; Employee Relations, Organizational Design and Restructuring as well as Employee Engagement and People Manager/Leadership development. This includes the identification and resolution of critical issues for the geography and client groups and the implementation of HR policies and practices that align to global HR strategic objectives.

 

The HRBP will work collaboratively with Global and Regional HR team as well as the HR Centre of Expertise to ensure timely delivery of business solutions within the framework of the global HR strategy. The HRBP will support the flawless execution of HR management processes and tools and contribute to corporate or local HR projects.

Activities
  • Actively partners with managers in their geography, demonstrating clear business acumen and an ability to drive for results and get things done. Prioritizes key business needs and drives HR initiatives delivering clear value add
  • Supports the local HR Senior Manager on project management (corporate projects as well as specific local projects), from legal analysis to implementation. Support the local Senior Management on all Works Council preparation issues
  • Applies strategic focus and spends >30% of time on strategic issues such as talent planning, talent management, employee engagement and organizational design efforts. Leads the business through the delivery of key programs in support of strategic goals
  • Executes key HR Programs and initiatives in their geography in alignment with global HR and business requirements
  • Address complex employee relations cases and provide oversight to managers in handling these complex issues, ensuring compliance with applicable local laws
Requirements
  • Strong overall knowledge on French social law and regulations
  • Human Resource experience in a generalist capacity
  • Experience working as an individual contributor as well as an active participant in team projects with global and local HR team members
  • Ability to challenge, question, inspire, influence and energize others while remaining sensitive to the needs of the business
  • Ability to multi task effectively, operating in a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
  • Data Judgement – applying judgement to data to support business decision making
  • High capacity to interact in a matrix organization
  • Fluent in French & English
