About the Opportunity

The APS Senior Program Director UKI is responsible for the most strategic, complex and, challenging programs in one of the most important markets in Europe. The responsibility of this position includes delivering multi-year programs exceeding customer expectations, building and maintaining exceptional customer relationship, and creating new business opportunities for Avaya by creating additional value propositions to our customers.

 

The APS Senior Program Director UKI will work closely with the local and international APS and Sales teams, with Avaya Service Delivery partners, and with other Avaya organizations like Product House, Services, and Finance.

About the Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, providing thought leadership and strategic oversight
  • Delivering multi-year, multi-million-dollar customer programs and securing Avaya revenue and margins
  • Stakeholder management up to executive level (internal & external)
  • Organizing and chairing steering group meetings (internal & external)
  • Defining and securing end-to-end program governance
  • Managing Avaya project teams including project & program managers
  • Managing Partners and suppliers within the program scope
  • Escalation management
About the Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S in one of the following areas - Communication Networks, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
  • Substantial experience of project & program management experience in the Communications industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Communication, Infrastructure and Software Implementation programs in customer environments
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in Software, IT and Communication solutions
  • Very strong experience and knowledge in software development, deployment and operations, cloud solutions and standards
  • Strong experience and knowledge of Contact Centre and Unified Communication solutions
  • Ideally strong knowledge of Avaya portfolio and solutions
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • High leadership skills
  • People management skills – able to interact at all levels
  • Travel up to 100%
