About the Opportunity

An experienced Manager in Solution Program Delivery. Strong coaching and mentoring skills, and a drive to make a difference in building and developing strong Solution delivery teams. Takes a leadership role in the Solution Leadership team by managing highly complex, large solutions in capacity of a Solution Release Program Manager.

 

The SRM’s responsibilities are to facilitate the Delivery of a Solution Release and assist the teams in delivering on the Business Value. SRM’s communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive alignment, delivery and improvement across the relevant workstreams, component and service teams. The SRM manages and optimizes this using various tools and other information radiators.

About the Responsiblities
  • Establish and communicate the delivery Increments up to the release of the Solution
  • Facilitate Solution Planning process which drives the Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Solution release Lifecyle and planning meetings
  • Summarize the Program delivery Objectives and track the execution of features and capabilities across the Solution Workstreams
  • Facilitate regular sync meetings to assist in the planning, estimation, alignment and decision making in relation to solution features and capabilities
  • Work with leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters delivery alignment, practices and a common approach
  • Help manage risks and dependencies, escalate and track impediments, provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Improve the delivery of value through workstreams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
  • Work with the Solution Program Management prime on Solution execution and operational excellence
  • Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering Leaders and Business Primes
  • Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Facilitate System, Solution Demos and Leadership and Customer engagements
  • Foster Communities of Practice and use of engineering and built in quality practices
  • Drive improvement in the areas of efficiency and execution
About the Requirements

Successful candidates will have a delivery alignment focus and have the following background:

 

  • BS/BA Degree in an engineering or management field
  • Demonstrated experience in management of large-scale Product Delivery (full lifecycle) working across organizational functions and International locations.
  • Substantial, strong proven Solution Program management skills with experience in a fast paced, International Global technology environment - ability to track status, identify risks and issues, and drive tasks to closure
  • Strong presentation, communication, analysis, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with different audiences (staff to senior executives) and for different purposes (informational to persuasive).
  • Experience with product development and Agile processes for large systems
  • Structured problem solving - ability to take a large, complex problem and break it down into manageable components.
  • Strategy formulation - ability to analyze the system needs, identify the gaps, develop and execute actionable plans to close those gaps.
  • Facilitation - ability to work with several organizations with differing needs and implement an agreed upon solution
  • Partnership/Teamwork - ability to work well with and influence a variety of people and be flexible to take on different roles/responsibilities as projects change.
