About the Opportunity


Avaya is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our IX CC team to bring transformative voice and digital automation, and orchestration capabilities into the IX CC product portfolio.


This is a great opportunity to transition and evolve the contact center industry with low or no code interfaces, simplified interaction dialog management, and infused AI across all channels in a cloud first model, leading to easy to build and use, rapid cloud-based applications supporting:


  • Voice (DTMF, ASR, TTS)
  • Video
  • Digital channels (email, SMS, Chat, Asynchronous App. based communications)
  • Social channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Conversational and AI technologies (Google CCAI, IBM Watson, AWS Lex, Nuance etc.)


You will work closely with other IX CC product managers, Sales and Marketing teams, together with R&D teams to define, develop and execute on a vision you will own from inception through to product launch.



  • Curate new ideas and develop product vision, strategy and feature priority of Automation (Voice, Video, Digital, AI) across Avaya IX CC portfolio with emphasis on ease of use, cloud delivery and business value
  • Work directly with customers, partners, users and other product management stakeholders to define and communicate a cohesive IX CC roadmap 
  • Collaborate with R&D, author epics and user stories that can be effectively injected into the global engineering workstream using agile development methods 
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify gaps, research emerging automation trends, and areas where strategic innovation in the area of automation, digital and AI is both merited and fruitful 
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to generate outbound messaging that will guide the development of sales and marketing collateral, white papers presentations, and demo materials 
  • Champion the needs of the end consumer personas throughout the development process and with the broader Avaya team and partners
About the Individual


  • Solid, in-depth experience in a high-tech software product management environment with experience in at least one of the following: IVR, Workflow, Digital Channels, or AI Conversational Technologies
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering software applications with a world-class user experience
  • Evidenced superior evangelism, communication, presentation, and requirements specification skills
  • Familiar with Agile development practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business field required.
