About the Opportunity

The Inside Renewals Sales Support Specialist supports the renewals end to end process, from opportunities to order booking, and works with Renewals Sales Specialists to identify and drive growth opportunities. This is a critical role within the team and to be successful you will be able to demonstrate relevant commercial experience

 

Activities & Accountabilities

  • Renewals Processing
    • Work with Avaya Quote Desk to deliver accurate quotes (if required) to partners in timely manner
    • For renewal, submit manual orders for contract booking and validate contract confirmation
    • For contract termination, initiate contract termination process to ensure the Avaya Opportunities Management System is updated
    • Consolidate the contract termination list and work with Sales Specialist for recovery actions
  • Renewals Reporting
    • Forecasting of renewals bookings in Excel and Salesforce.com
    • Run On-time performance analytics
    • Loss analysis of renewals
    • Trending analysis on renewals bookings performance
    • Perform Ad-hoc reporting activities
  • Support Sales Specialist in identifying upside opportunities to drive revenue growth
    • Identify upsell opportunities and support Renewal Specialist in closing these opportunities
    • Work as emergency backup to Renewal Specialist if required
  • Partner support
    • Escalation management of issues/disputes/IT tickets raised by partners
    • Advisory role to the partner for correcting installed base records using Avaya tooling
    • Advisory role on Avaya offer and policies

 

About the Individual

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of experience in a comparable supporting role in a sales environment
  • Strong inside sales commercial skills
  • Good understanding and work experience with data management and software license management
  • Pro-active and customer focused attitude
  • Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written, 2nd language would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in desktop applications such as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to work at a detailed level to complete tasks while at the same time prioritizing to achieve maximum results in renewal performance for given portfolio.
