About the Opportunity

The Digital Sales organization is a dedicated sales organization for Avaya Cloud Office deals below 100 seats. The Digital sales representatives can use a multi-channel (phone, social sales, video, face to face, etc.) approach to engage with its customers. They will be responsible for landing, ensuring our customers are using the cloud solutions, expanding their deals and finally renewing their cloud services at the end of the term of the contract. 

Opportunity based in our digital sales hub in Galway, Ireland.  We require candidates to support our France business who are fluent in both in French and English. The role reports to the ACO Sales leadership with ad dotted line reporting to Hub sales manager in Galway, Ireland

About the Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with all customers within your territory. One of the main opportunities is to migrate to public cloud customers with expiring contracts in some of  our mid-market unified communications offerings (IP Office, IP Office Powered By, CS1K)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers (commercial and technical) within your partner base
  • Work side by side with the partners in your territory to identify and close sales opportunities
  • Provide supporting information to your partners, e.g. competitive positioning; offers and promotions, customer satisfaction scores
  • Working in partnership with the Master Agents and key partners, develop growth plans for the top partners
  • Identifying gaps between forecast and target and assist in building a bridge plan to hit target 

About the Requirements

  • 1-3 years IT sales experience, preferably in cloud
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work load and multi task
  • Good communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions and their benefits without requiring face to face interactions
  • Active listener and able to problem solve, with a “can do” positive attitude
  • Team player, comfortable working in a fast paced sales environment
  • Comfortable making cold calls to prospect new customers
  • Excellent telephone, video and social selling etiquette
  • Educated to a degree level (2.1 minimum or equivalent)
  • Fluent French speaker and written language skills to a business standard
  • Fluent spoken and business standard written English language skills
