In the role as Technical Delivery Lead you have a solid technical background, a high affinity for agile software development and strong communicative skills for dealing with customers and all partners involved in the success.

Accountabilities & Activities
  • Management
    • Recording of customer requirements by use cases and along corresponding customer-specific business processes
    • Technical and administrative management of software development teams, recommendations and authority to issue instructions for major system, application and interfaces installations as bridge builder
    • Managing multiple technology vendors to develop, manage and successfully transition integration analysis and implementation plans into service through the transition process
  • Agile Software Development
    • Advise the project team on how to achieve the optimum from self-organization
    • Evaluate Scrum maturity level of the project team, the organization and coaching to increase it – “help as self help”
    • Adapt and live the 5 Avaya Principals - simplicity, accountability, empowerment, trust, & teamwork
  • Solution architecture
    • Recording, checking and examining customer requirements for plausibility and feasibility
    • Examination of the desired solution for possible standards and individualism
    • Working with the respective parties to avoid discrepancies between the targeted systems, their quality and security standards
About the Individual - Experience, Skills & Qualifications
  • University degree (Bachelor of Engineering)
  • Experience role of a Scrum Master
  • At least 5 years of experience in customer retention and solution architecture
  • Confident handling of application development, mainly in the area of web communication, and customer engagement technology
  • Good skills and knowledge in leadership of employees, moderation, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, strengthening and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge of various documented patterns and methods to fill the deliberately left open gaps in the Scrum approach (example: numerous burndown technologies, various retrospective formats, handling bugs)
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, as the architect needs to work with the PMO team to get decisions made in a time-critical manner so that projects can be completed on time
  • Knowledge of all software development phases (design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation) and support of large process-based applications that are the focus for the company
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD
  • Knowledge of the basics of cloud based microservices
  • A background with experience in dealing with communication suppliers as well as the production and design methods of complex Avaya communication systems is advantageous, including requirements discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of alternative solution proposals and their assessment, technology selection and design configuration
