About the Opportunity

Our EU HR team is currently seeking an HR Advisor to support our people managers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria across the EU. This role is based in Frankfurt, it is a full time position with flexible working opportunities. To be successful in this role you will believe in our cultural principles and work with trust, empowerment, teamwork, simplicity and accountability. You have ambition to work within a strong HR team but drive HR topics independently as well. You will be working closely with country people manager at all levels on all Employee Life Cycle (ELC) matters and you are understanding the business requirements. You will be responsible for all operative HR matters within the regions and partnering with the HR Business Partners on an international level. You will build productive and collaborative partnerships with cross functional support units (Finance, Legal, Operations, Enablement) and work together within our HR EU team.

About the Responsbilities

  • Responsibility for all operative HR matters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • First point of contact for all people managers in the regions: establish and maintain relationships with managers to stay in front of current and future employee relations matters, work with country people manager at all levels on all Employee Life Cycle (ELC) matters, help prevent potential employee relations scenarios, implement business unit specific HR report analysis, understand the business unit specific HR requirements
  • Point of contact for employees within the countries: advise on individual employee requests, interpretation of valid country/company policies, advise and solve employee complaints, advise on company pension, benefit and compensation requests
  • Collaboration with the local workers councils: inform and request approvals of works councils on all relevant HR topics e.g. employee changes, operational business changes, new tool implementation, attend and support the business during works council negotiations
  • Accompany and implementation of extensive reorganization measurements within the country: data analysis, support and advise the specific business units on business cases, consultations and discussions with employees, participation in works council negotiations; creation of status reports
  • Team working within the EU HR community: implementation of international HR projects, cross-functional partnering with compensation & benefits, finance and legal, creation, adaption and implementation of new HR policies, optimization of existing HR processes

About the Requirements

  • CIPD or equivalent qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field related to human resources
  • At least several years of proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a global organization
  • A strategic mindset and passion to drive results through people
  • Proven HR functional knowledge regarding labor law
  • Ability to communicate openly, understand the specific business need and find solutions
  • Can-do attitude, ability to work within the team and partnering across different business units
  • Proven cultural sensitivity
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German
