Will be responsible for Avaya’s entire portfolio marketing in the region, including its Collaboration, Customer Experience, and Cloud services and solutions.  Directs all marketing strategy and execution to enable sales to meet its sales pipeline, revenue and customer references goals.  Leads regional field marketing across all solution areas to execute the plan as a key part of global marketing management.  Designs and executes solutions field enablement programs for sales and channels based on company solutions content and field best practices.  Develops and executes a targeted marketing plan, strategy and related multi-faceted campaigns and events.  Leads the conversation with sales to segment and target customers for go-to-market engagement and then design a content and delivery strategy that can drives a thought-leadership agenda/conversation with key stakeholders in those companies.  Drives competitive activity, monitors customer business and technology needs and provides aggregated feedback into the overall marketing plan, content and campaigns.  Identifies and maintains contact with local suppliers, industry associations and influencers in support of the plan.  Acts as a virtual liaison for corporate programs and launches within region.  Runs all communications activities including press, social, influencer relations

Deals with matrix management initiates and fosters relationships with regional marketing teams to ensure the effective implementation of content and campaigns with local plans. 

Solid communication skills, able to adapt company messages into effective localized sales positioning, offers, differentiated point of views (POVs) and smart questions.

Understands large company business management and operations, including sales revenue and pipeline principles.

Sound budget reporting and management experience. 

ABM and Digital Marketing knowledge

Project Management tools knowledge ( Preferred)

The candidate for this position needs to have a solid background in B2B technology marketing and working closely with sales/channels teams. Our ideal candidate is well rounded, able to communicate confidently, understands solutions marketing and has previously run customer-centric programs, field/channel marketing and digital campaigns in a tech B2B company. 

Business and marketing orientation with an ability to combine the two to enable sales and drive an Avaya thought-leadership agenda with customers and partners in the US Region.

10+ years’ experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of which at least 5 years in sales/marketing technology to large, complex organizations.

Travel required


The pay range for this opportunity is from $96,900 to $130,850 + performance-related bonus + benefits

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
