Please note, current Top Secret Security Clearance already in place is required for this role.  You'll perform a wide range of security functions to ensure the protection of firm and government sensitive and classified information. Ensure the security program is compliant with DoD security requirements. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge to develop and contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Support all security operations of an active compound supporting government operations. Work independently with guidance from the Facility Security Officer (FSO).

A hybrid work schedule may be possible but the hired candidate will need to live 40 miles or less from our Fairfax, VA office to commute for in-office days.


  • Administer personnel security clearance and public trust processes to include coordinating initial submissions and periodic reinvestigations.
  • Ensure completion of security paperwork, collection of ink or electronic fingerprinting of initial clearance candidates and providing follow-up clearance report status on processed clearances to managers for specific contracts.
  • Process out-going and in-coming Visit Access Request (VAR).
  • Assist with security reviews to include Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) visits, formal self-inspections, and security reviews.
  • Manage security officers for the site and collaborate with Corporate Security management to mitigate physical security requirements.
  • Conduct security briefings/debriefings, pre/post foreign travel briefings, and refresher briefings, as necessary.
  • Assist in investigations and interviews of non‐compliance matters and issues relating to security violations.
  • Assist in combination changes, facility checks, alarm response, and other Security compliance items.
  • Support security related and other duties as assigned.
  • Strong personal computer skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Knowledge of Insider Threat Program, Controlled Unclassified Information, Risk Management Framework,  
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and management.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.


  • Two years of experience in the security field.
  • Knowledge of DoD security systems or databases, including DISS, NBIS, SFTW, and NISS.
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Special Access Program, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and other DoD security requirements.
  • Knowledge of personnel security clearance and public trust process.
  • Must possess Top Secret security clearance.



The pay range for this opportunity is from $86,700 to $117,100 + performance-related bonus + benefits

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
