Short Description

Supervisor of 4 - 6 Inside Partner Advocate Associates.  Daily activities include overseeing the activities, call log, funnel management, quarterly commit info, Marketing communications etc.  Partner Community of 500+ Business Partners, producing $ 4-5 M in Revenue on a quarterly basis.  Focus on growth for this segment of Partners quarter over quarter.  Align with the Area Channel Leaders, Inside Retention Team and Marketing to create coordinated efforts to drive additional business within this partner community.

Directs, supervises, and mentors inside sales associates to achieve unit revenue, profitability, and expense objectives. Ensures that inside sales are successful in owning and driving revenue growth for accounts and partners within assigned region. Targets quota by training and mentoring inside sales on appropriate sales activities, new account prospecting, and leveraging the sales network. An experienced revenue generator with proven management skills. Coaches team on how to sell the full portfolio of Avaya solutions by generating "pull" demand through indirect sales-oriented activities to end users. Selectively creates senior partner relationships with the largest customers and is considered a trusted advisor, creating value and influencing Avaya’s position with partners. Coordinates and reviews inside sales strategies and account plans that segment the addressable market and align partners in key target areas and addresses partner gaps. Responsible for ensuring that the region has the right talent to achieve goals. Recruits talent as needed, and is able to organize team with a strategy for progressing and replacing sales talent. Plays a key role in onboarding new sales talent, teaching the Avaya way. Is able to take a fair, but firm, approach when reviewing and evaluating inside sales personnel, doing so in a structured way that aligns with the role requirements outlined by Avaya.
