Overview

Responsible for processing purchase requisitions and performing goods receipts in support of operations for ramp-up and deployment of a large US government-related program. May also include any of the following responsibilities: interfacing with procurement and other groups to obtain pertinent data and to provide information for service entitlements as needed; maintaining open order reports and data accuracy within a database; interacting with the program delivery team to support shipping and receiving activities. Providing solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. .

Requirements
  • General
    • All applicants shall be US Citizen
    • Active security clearance is not required, however, ability to obtain public trust clearance (agency suitability) is preferred
  • Education and experience
    • BA in field related to business or logistics or equivalent experience
    • 3-6 years in procurement or order processing related to US government business
    • Government project experience is helpful
    •  Experience within the telecom or related technical industries is useful
Requirements - continued
  • Skills
    • Adept in use of CostPoint (v7.x preferred, but v6.x is satisfactory)—especially the procurement module
    • SAP experience is helpful
    • MS office (especially MS excel), also MS SharePoint is useful
    • Ability to build worksheets, build and use pivot tables is preferred
  •  Other
    • Ability to work in team environment with onsite and remote team members
    • Demonstrated experience with time-sensitive tasks and ability to meet deadlines
