Overview

 

In this role you are responsible for supporting driving a robust management system for the company, working directly for Avaya’s chief of staff.  The management system includes key meetings such as monthly and quarterly business reviews along with other strategic management team meetings. In addition, you will be expected to take on specific deep dive assignments to analyze revenue and cost opportunities for the business on an ad hoc basis. This role, is designed as a position for the company’s leadership pipeline and is geared for those with strong process and quantitative background with strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports key initiatives designed to transform the company’s operations, from processes, systems, to growth
  • Drives management system cadence and cross-functional work-streams in a classic program management capacity, i.e., identifies critical paths, closure of deliverables, ensuring commits are met.
  • Accountable tracking specific KPIs: partners with key stakeholders and senior leaders to drive to world-class / best-in-class levels
  • Enhances existing management system to enable sound decisions, such as supporting the analysis of metrics package for operations reviews, monthly/quarterly business reviews; be able to form an opinion/perspective on key business issues impacting the company

     

    Qualifications:

  • 5 – 7 years work experience, in large enterprise environment or in a consulting firm
  • Experience in large-scale projects/engagements (transformations, analytics/process, IT)
  • Strong interpersonal & quantitative skills; aptitude and ability to work in fast paced environment
