Short Description

THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IS EFFECTIVE ON FEBRUARY 1, 2016. Supports the engagement of customers to explore their situations and needs and helps others probe underlying issues that suggest broader solutions. Supports revenue growth and accounts within the 1000-5000 employee per company segment in assigned territory. Maximizes sales activities and achieves quotas by prospecting for new accounts, building Partner relationships, and leveraging the sales network. Supports overall Partner engagement and strategy (in collaboration with CAM) for the territory, which includes the development of existing Partners and identifying needs to be filled through the recruitment of new Partners. Operates as a dynamic "hunter" and demand generator, conducting mid-market discovery; grows the addressable market by identifying the key accounts in the territory. Is familiar with mapping capabilities of existing Partners to key target areas and identifying Partner gaps. Supports the selling of Avaya products and/or services to end-user customers with and through Partners in the 1000-5000 employee per company segment in assigned geographic territory. Responsible for driving activities to ensure customer and Partner satisfaction.
