ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

AVAYA IT is a corner stone of AVAYA’s digital transformation, and our development teams are leading the effort to build the foundation for this transformation. In this role we are looking for the candidate who cane beside the development of information systems, lead teams, manage proper and timely project execution.

As Senior Team Lead, you must be able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and work across multiple businesses and hierarchies in a matrix organization.

You will develop and implement functional software solutions based on state of the art platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, or custom solutions based on your design. You will work with senior management in IT and AVAYA’s business units

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage global development teams of employees and contractors
  • Work with our internal and external customers to understand their needs in the digital transformation and translate this into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and control the development cycles from a quality, time, and budget perspective
  • Work cross functionally to ensure the successful implementation of new solutions and work with the IT Operations team to set up the right support model
  • Be the trusted advisor for your internal and external customers when it comes to how IT can help to grow or optimize the business.
  • Plan your team’s budget, capacity, training, availability, etc. to deliver committed solutions

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Successful project implementations with platforms like Salesforce or ServiceNow
  • Leading global teams and work across multiple cultures or worked in multiple countries
  • Working with senior leadership of internal or external customers

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong knowledge about current web and mobile development practice. Enhanced knowledge about “security by design” as part of the development cycle.
  • Fast learner who understands your customer’s needs and translate it into technology.
  • Presentation skills with different methodologies to show customer value.
  • Basic project management skills including project financials
  • Ability to motivate people especially when things don’t go as planned
  • SAP S4 knowledge helpful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • This role is for self motivated individual who can work independently. The candidate can find opportunities to help AVAYA growing our business.
  • Occasional travel required

 

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Software development
  • Currently certified specialist for Salesforce (ServiceCloud) or ServiceNow
  • Current certificates from Microsoft, Oracle, etc. are additional plus
