Positions and promotes the partner value proposition, leading account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities and reinforcing existing relationships. Develops and executes sales strategies and tactics that maximize the company’s opportunity within the customer environment.


  • Sales leader will have sales and revenue responsibility for a group of six enterprise account managers
  • Diverse group of enterprise accounts within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas region
  • Account Manager ratio of 10 to 12 accounts per account lead
  • Responsible for executing on Avaya’s OneCloud strategy to drive transformation across customer base within region
  • Responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which will include recruiting, hiring and training team on sales process
  • Responsible for sales planning and accurate forecasting to senior management
  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client meetings or engaging other support resources as required
  • Develop and execute sales campaigns focused on our OneCloud strategy
  • Engage at a C-Level in customer organizations




  • Requires a strong background in executive-level communication, building customer and partner relationships, and territory planning and segmentation.
  • Must be able to lead an enterprise sales team and will make important resource decisions that apply to both corporate and account team resources with new opportunities.
  • Sales management of a sales organization that includes account managers selling direct to end customers and indirectly through channel partners
  • Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.



  • 10+ years enterprise sales experience with a minimum of 3 years sales leadership experience within the technology sector (preferably with a CX company).
  • Proven ability to create and lead high performing teams
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working within the Software and Cloud space.
  • BA degree - MBA or graduate degree preferred
