ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a fully remote based role.  Applicant must already be based in the United States.  We are looking for an individual contributor Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing activities for Avaya’s OneCloud is enabling Avaya customers to navigate the uncharted waters of the pandemic with solutions that enable Contact Tracing and accelerate Vaccine Administration. Seeking someone reactive and customer focused that can convert technology into compelling value propositions, and also has proven to manage large initiatives and deliver results.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

You will interact with Avaya Leadership, Sales, Product Management, and other Marketing teams to serve multiple stakeholders, including global customers, partners and investors. 

  • You will be responsible for crafting and orchestrating the Avaya OneCloud marketing strategy, market definition and targeting, and positioning and messaging for specific capabilities within the solution set, targeting global customers both directly and through Avaya’s partner channel.
  • You will work closely with product management, to translate the value propositions of your solution areas to generate maximum value for sales, customers and partners.
  • You will become a recognized thought leader and spokesperson in this space by communicating unique perspectives and insights via blogs, social media, presentations, and interactions with industry influencers, sales, partners and customers. 
  • You will personally create content to support associated external and internal communications.
  • You will orchestrate new offer launches and provide content for sales and partner enablement. 
  • You will work with the Avaya Unified Communications and Contact Center marketing teams to identify and drive offering synergies. 

 

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
 

You should have a good understanding of the private and public communications cloud market and concepts, and also have an understanding of the customer experience space and contact center solutions including digital, artificial intelligence, resource management and analytics.  Previous industry experience and 5-7 years in a product or solutions marketing role with cloud and/or technology solutions is preferred.  Business communications industry experience is preferred

  • Ability to develop and drive go-to-market plans

  • Knowledge of current cloud / technology trends
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Cloud Solutions experience for delivery applications helpful
  • A broad mix of product management and product marketing management skills and experience is preferred over specific marketing focus skills and roles.

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Related Field
Master of Business Administration is preferred but not essential
