About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Avaya as a Named Account Manager to work with a select group of Enterprise Accounts in North and Central Texas.  The module includes assigned Named accounts and new logos. To be successful in this role, you need to be comfortable selling into the executive suite, fluent with UC, CC, Cloud technology sales and be excellent at building and managing client relationships.  Experience with data networking and security is a plus for the role. 

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Ability to plan, pitch and execute a sales strategy for assigned accounts and new logos.
  • Strong ability to execute quickly on stated objectives to grow the business.
  • Account management skills to identify opportunities and advance them to close stage within a reasonable period of time
  • Ability to work through and with a partner and reseller ecosystem to scale the business.

About the Responsibilities

Positions and sells Avaya products and services to assigned Enterprise clients and new logos. 

Ability to build and maintain profitable relationships with existing clients as well as new logos pursued.

Maintains full accountability for assigned accounts and serves as the customer’s trusted advisor and advocate.

Maximizes opportunities by driving the customer account planning process, leads virtual account teams in building strategies that deliver balanced growth for our customers

Leverages Avaya partners and Alliances to strategize on account penetration

Conducts strategic account planning to enhance the quality of the sales pipeline, accelerate and maximize revenue generation and, as a trusted advisor, improve the customer experience with Avaya. 

Develops and leads a business outcome conversation and build relationships with C-levels.

Owns and drives sales cycle forward with IT and business decision makers as well C-levels.

Meets or exceeds annual quota assigned for the module. Owns and develops forecasts based on short and long-term growth.

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE
 

Enterprise sales experience of UC, CC, SaaS or Cloud with proven track record

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
 

Possess an in-depth understanding of the Communications Market including Unified Communications, Contact Center, and deployments of hybrid, private and public cloud solutions. 

Exhibits resourceful and strategic nature, maximizing leads, funnel building, pipeline management, and forecasting. Develop sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities in Salesforce.

Working independently while collaborating with a cross functional team in a matrix organization.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 

Virtual/Remote worker; Austin or Dallas/ Fort Worth is preferred.  Access to office in Irving, TX.

Travel is limited to N and Central TX as well as opportunities to travel for training and conventions.

Experience

5 - 8 Years of Experience

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Master Degree is preferred
