About the Opportunity

A visionary who leads the IT Network strategy by providing business-to-technical liaisons and industry expertise. Responsible for the production and design of complex IT Network systems which may include, but not limited to: requirements discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and their assessment, technology selection, and design configuration. Extensive technical breadth is required. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area having overall responsibility for planning, budgeting, implementing and maintaining costs, methods, and employees. Work is performed without appreciable direction.

About the Responsibilities

Responsible for network engineering, design and implementation

Help steer and innovate best networking practices in Avaya’s enterprise and Cloud network infrastructures.

Provide technical leadership in design, architecture and administration

Manage PCI-DSS and HIPAA systems working with corporate and external auditors to provide supporting evidence of compliance.


About the Requirements


Proven experience managing Network and Operations with a strong technical background.

Hands-on architecture and design expertise

Experience with working in a production 24 hours a day, 7 days per week environment.



Demonstrated expertise in network fundamentals:  routing and switching, network protocols, network security, SDWAN, SDN, data center networks

Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrable ability to work with a diverse team across the globe.

Passion for operational excellence and a strong urge to improve existing solutions 


10+ Years of Experience


Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Advance Degree preferred
