About the Denmark Enterprise Technical Sales Team

The Denmark Enterprise Technical sales team works with some of the Denmark largest brands across all verticals. We work very closely with our customers and partners to position Avaya’s software, services and consultancy within the enterprise digital transformation space.   Avaya is changing its culture, we’re looking for individuals that can help share in our success and help drive change in a highly motivated, driven and growing team. 

About the Opportunity

Working as part of a highly driven presales team you have the responsibility to work with the Denmark’s largest partners and brands to help shape the future of Avaya powered solutions, opportunities and propositions.  You will have a high level of commercial awareness and the ability to assist the partner or customer in creating industry leading technical digital transformation projects.  More over this will be backed up by a proven ability to apply solution consulting disciplines to shaping the overall opportunity.


The role is an office position in Copenhagen, Denmark. Travel will be required to develop customer relationships and interactions.  You will be serving as a technical lead who coordinates all technical sales activities for our customers or partners in assigned key accounts.


Activities & Accountabilities:


To build trusting and strong relationships with individual stakeholders within Avaya’s customer and partners through your role as a high integrity, highly credible and knowledgeable individual in both contact center and UC environments. You will be responsible for developing technical account plans and sales proposals for assigned opportunities. Delivers demos, trials, proofs-of-concepts and post-sales diagnostic support, or creating the appropriate infrastructure for demos, trials, and proofs-of-concepts to be delivered by partners.


Core activities include

  • Producing High Level design documentation,
  • AsIsToBe documentation and managing design governance.
  • Engineering ROI, technical closure and ‘proof and comfort’ of design.
  • Presenting and workshops activities.
  • Proactively working with Account teams and partners to identify new opportunities for growth, whilst being aware of competitive threats and industry trends.


The enterprise SE is also responsible for maintaining technical knowledge across multiple products and solutions while developing more in-depth expertise in a specific area or solution specialization. It’s expected that you maintain all relevant Avaya certifications.

About the Individual

You must be inspired by the opportunity Avaya and our partners face in helping customers digitally transform.  A strong solution selling methodology is a requirement for this role, where you will look to provide Technical closure and engineer ROI that’s specific to the customer needs and journeys.  Proven experience in this area is preferred.


  • Avaya or competitive experience in Contact center technology is required along with a strong base in UC.
  • A good mix of soft skills is essential with numerous opportunities to develop presenting and networking techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud-based architecture and delivery models.
  • A good understanding and ability to talk to the trends and industry influences our enterprise customers are facing as they digitally transform.


Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5 years related experience; experience in the solutions supported by this role preferred; experience in sales engineering or consulting preferred.
  • Experience in Solution selling methodology.
  • Commercial awareness and appreciation.
  • Presentation, interpersonal and demo skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Avaya Product or general technical and Services delivery knowledge and experience that are equivalent.
  • The individual must be extremely well organized and able to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Cloud market is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
