The candidate must be able to analyze customer requirements and develop IVR applications to meet those requirements. Applications are developed for Avaya Experience Portal, utilizing Orchestration Designer and JAVA in a SIP environment. The candidate will develop, test and document multiple application within project scope and deadlines.


Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for Application, System Software and OS life cycle support in a Linux and Windows environments. This includes installation, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting.


The candidate must have good communication skills, both written and verbal along with the following skills:

  • Experience developing Orchestration Designer applications (5+ years).
  • Java software development (7+ years).
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE and the Tomcat web servers.
  • Experience with Hibernate, JDBC and SQL interfacing Oracle or MySQL
  • Experience with Nuance Speech Recognition and Text-to-Speech.
  • Experience with Linux scripting and system administration.
  • Understanding of voice and data technologies as applied in an enterprise call center environment.


5 - 6 years of experience and a Bachelor degree or equivalent, or 4 years of experience and a Master degree or equivalent
