About The Opportunity


The Solutions & Technology organization of Avaya is the company’s global team responsible for the innovation and development of Avaya’s contact center, unified communications and collaboration products and services.  We are a team of innovators in every aspect of what we do and count among us the best engineers, developers, researchers and product leaders in the world of communications technology. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of an agile oriented product team. You will discuss solutions with peer Engineers and Software Architects, estimate the effort required and develop them. You will participate in code reviews with your peers and use the opportunity to share knowledge with the team. You will be developing a cloud-oriented product, with high capacity and scalability requirements.

•    Develop features following the team’s methodology
•    Present and discuss about feature code you write to team-mates and lead developers
•    Support other team members, creating a healthy work environment
•    Timely communicate risks and deviations to the team
•    Contributes to an open and transparent workspace



•    Proven experience in writing scalable and testable feature code, being part of an agile team.
•    Experience with Agile methodologies and tools

About You

What can you bring?

•    Knowledge of Design Patterns and OOP’s concepts
•    Very good understanding of version control systems like Git and Bitbucket 
•    Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
•    RESTful Services
•    Microservices and Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
•    Messaging/Event driven application development (desired)
•    Relational and Non-Relational Database design
•    Highly disciplined in tracking your development work and to provide visibility to the team
•    Fluent oral and written English skills 



7 - 10 Years of Experience


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
