As Software Consulting Engineer in Test, you will plan and supervise the activities of test automation engineers working in agile teams for a value stream (group of capabilities), ensuring the necessary test scope is established to address feature requirements and the quality of testing deliverables. Establish initial testing plans to determine time and resource requirements, and be a key participant in feature planning activity to ensure these requirements are factored in. You will be building features incrementally and integrated into a cloud-based solution in the Contact Center domain. You will be asked to provide guidance and consultation on Test Automation strategy for other teams part of the same group of value streams.

About The Responsibilities

•    Works on testing activities of product features with high capacity and scalability requirements, from design to system integration.
•    Participate in backlog grooming, planning and estimation of the feature backlog.
•    Implements best practices and techniques in testing automation, striving for high quality and efficient testing deliverables.
•    Support and enhance the continuous software integration of product features.
•    Automate test cases for key scenarios.
•    Ensures proper version control and configuration management of all test deliverables and test environments.
•    Explore and assess new tools to support the ongoing testing automation efforts.



•    Strong experience with the full lifecycle of agile feature development.
•    Experience in communicating quality issues and risks.
•    Proven experience in writing automated test cases and automation framework design. Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines desired.
•    Experience in performance/load testing automation.
•    Hands-on experience with software configuration management tools, and feature and defect backlog management tools.


About You

What can you bring

•    Strong experience with test automation tools like JMeter and Robot Framework a plus.
•    Experience writing Python, Java, Groovy or Go code. Experience with SCM tools including Git & Bitbucket.
•    Experience with API-First architectures and working in TDD and BDD environments.
•    Proven experience automating enterprise-level back-end, web and cloud-based features.
•    Working experience on DevOps tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc., desired.
•    Story and bug management systems including JIRA.
•    Working knowledge of Linux/Unix including installation and configuration
•    Understanding of telephony and contact centers concepts would be a big plus.
•    Fluency in English communication skills, oral and written.
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills
