About the Opportunity

Within the Solutions & Technology team, we have several critical cloud-based solution efforts focused on our Contact Center solutions.   These solution efforts work across our Product, Engineering and Operations team to deliver market-leading offers to our Enterprise customers and require an experienced manager in solution program delivery to coordinate across the cross-functional teams.   We are looking for a Solution Release Manager candidate with strong coaching and mentoring skills, and a drive to make a difference in building and developing strong solution delivery teams.  This position will have a leadership role in the overall solution delivery team by managing highly complex release plans across multiple development workstreams.
The Solution Release Manager’s primary responsibilities are to facilitate the delivery of a complex solution release and assist the teams in delivering on the business value.  The Solution Release Manager must communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive alignment, delivery, and improvement across the relevant workstreams, component and service teams.
 

About the Responsibility

  • Establish and communicate the delivery Increments up to the release of the Solution
  • Facilitate Solution Planning process which drives the roadmap, and backlogs, and through Solution release Lifecyle and planning meetings
  • Summarize the program delivery objectives and track the execution of features and capabilities across the Engineering Workstreams
  • Facilitate regular sync meetings to assist in the planning, estimation, alignment, and decision making in relation to solution features and capabilities
  • Work with leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters delivery alignment, practices, and a common approach
  • Help manage risks and dependencies
  • Escalate and track impediments
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Encourage collaboration between Value Stream teams, Architects, Engineering leaders and Business Primes
  • Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Improve the delivery of value through workstreams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
  • Foster Best Practice knowledge sharing
  • Drive improvement in the areas of efficiency and execution with relevant teams, products, components, functions.

About the Requirements


EXPERIENCE

 

  • 4 - 5 years of experience

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

 

  • Strong Java development experience in real time distributed computing environments.
  • Experience in REST API design & Impl. (Swagger and OpenAPI ).
  • Experience Apigee Edge/ApigeeX in designing API facades, designing and implementing API Proxies & Apigee policies.
  • Experience in Apigee Developer portal setup and customization.
  • Experience in setting up Apigee X environment and configuring/Administering various components.
  • Experience in implementing API Security and Access Control (OAuth/SAML, JWT etc.)
  • Experience in CI/CD implementation in Apigee build & deployment.
  • Good experience in supporting the Apigee environments and APIs across environments.                                                                                                     
  • Knowledge of health checks and monitoring procedures for Apigee components & APIs.                                                                                                         
  • Analysis of Apigee logs to identify and resolve issues.

 

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
