THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IS EFFECTIVE ON FEBRUARY 1, 2016. Demonstrates advanced prospecting, networking, and research skills. Identifies and acquires new customers, maintaining full accountability for assigned segment within a territory. Builds and manages deep account relationships in all accounts and sales activities, representing Avaya and the customer fairly. Sells with a expert understanding of Avaya's entire portfolio and possesses the business acumen needed to identify creative solution-based sales opportunities, broadening Avaya's footprint of net new customers. Builds relationships across the customer organization by understanding their business needs and aligning Avaya’s solutions accordingly. Leads Avaya specialists from all support organizations to deliver 360-selling and build relevance within accounts. Always focused on net new business with Avaya and/or new customers. Quickly establishes him/herself as a trusted advisor to key stakeholder in assigned territory.
