Short Description

Avaya Cloud team is seeking an outstanding individual to develop, deploy, and manage strategy, business development, and related initiatives in cloud biz development. In this role, you will help develop and then synthesize the vision and strategy of Avaya Cloud into practical initiatives that work cross-functional change and drive Customer Collaboration business growth. The primary outcomes of your work is creating the appropriate plans for action to capture these opportunities for Avaya cloud biz, gathering marketplace, Partner, and Sales input and use to create biz and other parts of Avaya cloud solution resulting in market-based solutions, roadmaps, investments, and marketing deliverables.

The candidate will be a catalyst for Avaya’s Cloud solution transformation in China, shaping its future by leading high profile, strategic initiatives, and often times leading significant cross-functional teams. This critical role requires discretion, strong intelligence, intense focus, and quick turnaround, leveraging resources from across the company in developing and executing critical elements of our cloud Business Strategy. The ideal candidate is adaptable, works best in a fast-paced, changing and growing environment, and has a balance of both business and technology, with a proven record of strategic thinking, excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills. This position requires a strong knowledge in Contact Center technology and Cloud market landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Development of North China Avaya Cloud offer Go to Market strategy including implications for our architectures, solutions, pricing, and programs
• Assessment and development of Avaya IPO business opportunities in the mid- and long-term by theatre, country and region, across verticals and technologies, and their evolution over time
• Partnering with Theater and internal leadership to driving the strategy into actionable plans, and owning the implementation of some.
• Creating and managing effective communications and process to align efforts to decisions and expected outcomes
• Partner with Avaya channels to manage the partner strategy and drive the partner adoption of Avaya Cloud with the country and field channels teams across China.
• Align with strategic partners to drive solution relevance in major SI, SP and vertical partners
• Building TCO models and market sizing models and will take a leading part in building technical strategy around our key and future competitive advantages.
• Analyzes market opportunities, segmentation and competitive landscape; and in conjunction with Solutions Marketing and other groups participates in the development of appropriate collateral, including: white papers, case studies, references, and customer Presentations.

Requirements:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team player who works well in collaborative and matrix management situation.
• The ability to clearly articulate complex and abstract ideas.
• Comfortable interacting with Customers, Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Finance teams.
• Familiarity with customer, partner and field sales business processes.
