Description

We are seeking an experienced Backup & Storage Administrator to manage our enterprise data protection infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure the reliability of our backup operations, lead disaster recovery efforts, and maintain our business continuity strategy across both on-premise and multi-cloud (Azure, GCP) environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in NetBackup, enterprise storage systems like NetApp, and cloud storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer enterprise backup solutions, including NetBackup and backup replication technologies.

• Design and maintain data protection, recovery, and retention strategies.

• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) planning and testing.

• Manage and maintain Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) environments.

• Administer backup and storage solutions across Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, and Windows systems.

• Manage and support storage and backup solutions in Azure and GCP cloud environments.

• Perform backup monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data governance policies.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with NetBackup and enterprise backup replication.

• Experience with enterprise storage platforms including Tintri and NetApp.

• Experience with Azure NetApp Files and Azure Storage services.

• Solid understanding of data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity frameworks.

• Experience managing NAS and SAN storage infrastructure.

• Knowledge of multi-platform environments (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, Windows).

• Experience supporting Azure and GCP storage solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in backup and storage administration.

• Experience in enterprise or data center environments preferred.
