About the Opportunity

Cloud Operations is responsible for both facilitating internal development efforts and maintaining site reliability for our line-of-business software as a service products. This position will work in a cross-functional team together with developers and quality assurance engineers to optimize performance and security on our infrastructure, and to assist incident management in the production environments. Key responsibilities for this role include facilitating upgrades, building infrastructure enhancements, and automating repeative tasks.

About the Responsibilities

Responsibilities include implementing or contributing to :

•    Configuration and infrastructure management with tools such as Terraform and/or Helm Charts. 
•    Executing and troubleshooting issues associated with a globally deployed cloud application
•    Documenting deployment procedures
•     Development of and continual improvement of automation and procedures 
•    Analyzing and supporting infrastructure in GCP Monitoring system performance and recommend corrective action. Documenting current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation
•    Collaborate with product owners, developers, and support staff to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of service

About the Requirement

 •    4+ years experience providing site reliability engineering to a SaaS application
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
•    Experience with GCP or another cloud platform adminstration
•    Must be passionate about trouble-shooting
•    Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Powershell
•    Knowledge of or desire to learn
•    Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
•    Linux and Linux Administration
•  Git, GitHub and related tools
•    Application build pipeline tools such as Jenkins
•  OWASP security principles
•    Experience with telecommunication protocols such as SIP desirable
