Short Description

We are seeking a skilled Unix/Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise server environments. You will be responsible for our diverse infrastructure spanning Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX systems, as well as our VMware and multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Unix and Linux environments including Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX. 

  • Manage and maintain VMware vSphere virtualized environments. 

  • Support cloud infrastructure operations across Azure, AWS, and GCP. 

  • Perform server performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.

  • Manage system patching, upgrades, security hardening, and compliance.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Ansible.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to ensure system stability and uptime.

  • Migrate on-premise applications to Cloud (Azure/GCP)

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Solaris, and HP-UX.

  • Experience managing VMware vSphere environments.

  • Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms.

  • Expertise in server performance monitoring and capacity planning.

  • Proficiency in Bash scripting and Ansible automation.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.

  • Experience in enterprise or data center environments preferred.
