About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Named Account Manager to drive sales of Avaya products and services to enterprise customers. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for their assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for both the customer and Avaya. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to safeguarding the strategic interests of all parties involved. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to assigned enterprise accounts with a multi-year focus to achieve balanced growth, continued account penetration, and sustained customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, establishing and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships at the executive level.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure executives understand how Avaya solutions align with their business objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate strategic account planning activities to create a quality sales pipeline, accelerate revenue generation, and improve the overall customer buying experience.
  • Participate and lead negotiations to close customer master and cloud agreements.
  • Identify and build trusted relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Conduct presentations and lead product demonstrations to showcase Avaya’s value proposition.
  • Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in complex sales, with at least 7 in a high-tech industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key clients.
  • Experience negotiating complex enterprise software/cloud deals.
  • Experience selling to executive leadership/C-levels.
